Chronicals of narnia : voyage of dawn trader ' seems to be a fall

The first movie of “Narnia” series was undoubtedly a super hit. It collected $745 million all over the world and was liked by both critics and audiences. The second was never able to match up to its predecessor and slipped quite badly, but still it was able to collect around $420 million worldwide. Now, the third movie of the series “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader ” based on the C.S. Lewis’s children books has been released. But, to utter disappointment of the Fox, critics have given it thumbs down. The initial box office figures are not as good as expectations were either and therefore it will be tough for this Michael Apted directed fantasy film to become a hit. Incidentally, Disney disassociated itself from the series after the second installment did not live up to the expectations. Its decision seems now to be a correct one and people will be wondering if this third film becomes the last of series.
